Your Cherry Hill Professional Firefighters were honored to be on hand on Monday, November 20, 2023, at a press conference at Cherry Hill Fire Department (CHFD) Headquarters with Congressman Donald Norcross and multiple local, county, and state officials to highlight the awarding of several federal grants to support local firefighter staffing, equipment, and training initiatives.

Several of your Cherry Hill Professional Firefighters were recognized on Thursday, October 27, 2023 by the Professional Firefighters of New Jersey (PFANJ) for life-saving actions performed while battling an apartment fire in 2022.

Your Cherry Hill Professional Firefighters endorse candidates who support us and stand for public safety, including John J. Mulholland, Jr. and Rosy Arroyo for Cherry Hill Fire Commissioner. Ms. Arroyo is running as a write-in candidate, and voters will need to enter "Rosy Arroyo" in the "WRITE-IN" column in order to record their vote. Residents who vote by mail are able to submit their ballots now. For those voting in person, be sure to go to your local polling place on Tuesday, November 7, and vote!

In the early hours of Wednesday, September 27, 2023 your B-Platoon Cherry Hill Professional Firefighters from Engine 1352, Ladder 1324, and Safety 13 (Capt. Houck) responded via automatic aid into Pennsauken to assist on the scene of a dwelling fire on the 2200 block of 37th Street. Those same Cherry Hill Fire Department units then left that scene after the fire was knocked down to respond to another reported building fire in Pennsauken on the 4500 block of Westfield Avenue. Your Cherry Hill Fire Department B-Platoon Professional firefighters responded Wednesday, September 6 to a truck into an occupied commercial building on which then caught on fire while the driver of the truck was still trapped. Although the dental office was full of patients and staff at the time of the incident, only the truck driver was hospitalized.

A group of your Cherry Hill Fire Department Professional Firefighters active and retired got together on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, for their annual outing to Citizens Bank Park for a Philadelphia Phillies game. While unfortunately the Phils lost to the Las Angeles Angels 10-8, members spanning several generations had a great time hanging out together.

Your B-Platoon Cherry Hill Professional Firefighters from Rescue 13, Engine 1322, Squad 13, Battalion 13, and Safety 13 responded Monday, August 28, 2023 to a serious, 3-car motor vehicle accident on Route 70 which resulted in one fatality. The accident is under investigation by the Cherry Hill Police Department.

Thanks to a rapid and professional response, the fire was quickly contained and the business was reportedly able to reopen later the same evening.

Your Cherry Hill Professional Firefighters were honored to join Mount Laurel Professional Fire Fighters IAFF Local 4408 members, and firefighters from throughout the United States and beyond on July 13, 2023 in Newark, NJ to honor the memories of Newark Firefighters Augusto Acabou and Wayne Brooks Jr. who were killed in the line of duty on July 5, 2023 while battling a fire on a cargo ship in Port Newark.

Your C-Platoon Cherry Hill Fire Department Professional Firefighters from Ladder 1324 and Safety 13 responded Thursday, July 13, into the City of Camden to assist on the scene of a dwelling fire that spread to at least 6 homes and displaced more than 30 residents.
