Your Cherry Hill Professional Firefighters were honored to be on hand when Cherry Hill Fire Department Commissioner John J. Mulholland Jr. hosted a conversation about Fire Districts during the 2025 PFANJ Convention in Atlantic City.

In New Jersey, a fire district is separate legal and political entity established in some municipalities to provide fire protection services. Fire districts are governed by a Board of Fire Commissioners who are elected by the residents within the district's boundaries. Cherry Hill Township is protected by Cherry Hill Fire District #13, one of the largest and busiest fire districts in the state.
